Research Products International Corp Tissue Processing Cassette, Lilac, 500/cs
Designed for processing various tissue and biological samples. Cassettes keep specimens submerged in liquid during all phases of sample processing. Efficient flow through slots maximize fluid exchange and ensure proper drainage. Easy to use. Snap apart and conveniently lock the lid into the base of the cassette. Cassettes can be opened and closed numerous times and always relock securely without risk of specimen loss. Molded from high density polymer. Labeling areas located on three sides of cassette with a 30° angle writing surface.
Optional cassette storage drawer available provides convenient storage and identification for up to 250 cassettes. Heavy duty cardboard construction.

Biopsy processing cassettes are similar to the slotted cassettes but have a 1 mm square mesh for small biopsies. Made from Acetyl Polymer, which is a special high density polymer that keeps specimens safely submerged in solution, these cassettes are totally resistant to most histological solvents and their slots offer maximum flow through for good fluid exchange and proper drainage.
The lids can be opened and closed as often as necessary and they always relock securely without danger of specimen loss. Large labeling areas are located on three sides of the cassette for your convenience.

Cassettes, for use with Leica and Sakura printers, are molded from a special high density acetal. The efficient flow-through slots maximize fluid exchange and ensure proper reagent drainage. The cover does not protrude above the cassette, a great space saving feature. The anterior printing area is at a 45 degree angle and offers an unobstructed view of the writing surface.
The one-piece disposable plastic cover is pre-installed on each cassette and eliminates the need for reusable steel lids. The cover can be opened and closed as often as necessary and will always relock, reducing the possibility of specimen loss.

The Tissue-Tek Uni-Cassette with lid has a smooth, single action, fracture-back hinge that allows the cassette to fracture when closed, and then break smoothly with no difficulty. This product features a unique design of raised spacer nubs in order to keep the space between the cassettes for better exchange of processing reagents. The cassette also has a wider, thicker finger tab that not only lessens the strain on operators finger, but also makes the opening of the lid less complicated.
